La Granja

Yesterday earlier in the morning, my husband and I talked about all the things we want and have to do during Easter.  I must to say that both of us enjoy doing outdoor activities, being in contact with nature and breathing fresh air.  However, recently our baby Tian has had cough and must avoid current airs.  So that, we decided to go to La Granja's restaurant located in the outskirts of Bogota in Tenjo Cundinamarca.  This is famous because of decoration of giant animals made of iron, steal and recycled materials, also for its little zoo.

To avoid the traffic jam, we left home at 10 a.m.  And took the way to Tenjo.  The way was quite empty maybe because people are in holidays outside of Bogota.  We arrived at the restaurant at midday and ordered some entrés such as plantains and some hot beverages.  Then, we asked for the main course, I ordered a bite of meat and chicken and a mushroom salad, my husband eat fish and our other relatives asked for pork ribs and chicken.  Meanwhile, my husband and I switched to take our little daughter Tuti to the children attractions.  She was the most happy because she walked, ran, jumped, climbed and enjoyed the whole place.  In addition, she fed animals in their farmyard and painted a piggy.

We returned home at 4 p.m., the children were exhausted and got slept at the car.  We were happy because it was a great time full of delicious food and a memorable nature experience.
